Injection Molding Machine Operator jobs in Hialeah, FL
Injection Molding Machine Operator sets up and operates injection molding machinery to shape plastics. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Being an Injection Molding Machine Operator adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Injection Molding Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Injection Molding Machine Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Injection Molding Tech
1) Must learn to be competent in how to get proper material to molding machines.
2) Must learn to be competent in understanding material characteristics, how to process
different materials.
3) Must learn to be competent in startup of machines.
4) Must learn to be competent in identifying and correcting process issues.
5) Must learn to be competent in set up and programming of robot for part removal.
6) Must learn to be competent in documenting process sheets once jobs are cycled in.
7) Must learn to be competent in operation of vacuum loading system for machines.
8) Must learn to be competent in troubleshooting blender issues.
9) Must comply with all PPE requirements of the company.
10) Must know and follow chain of command.
11) Must maintain respectful relationships with all coworkers and supervisors.
12) Must be willing to work overtime as required.
13) Must follow any other instructions given from your supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Have knowledge and skills to work with tools
Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time and endure a hot environment
Certs:
Must have or become forklift certified
