Inservice Training Director directs the overall design and development of training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Establishes a skill assessment process to collect input and identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Inservice Training Director consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Ensures curricula designs support defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Inservice Training Director develops standards and methodology to prepare high-quality outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Oversees and approves the selection of software or collaboration tools used for training. Establishes the appropriate metrics to use for the evaluation of training effectiveness. Analyzes outcomes to determine ROI and recommend changes to programs and budgets. Evaluates and selects vendors to provide support, training materials, or to conduct training sessions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior director. The Inservice Training Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. The full-time Director will be pivotal in driving community engagement, advocacy, and financial stability for the chamber. This role creates and implements programs, events, and initiatives that support our members, promote our community, and foster strong government relations. Effective time management is crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cultivate meaningful relationships with businesses and community organizations.
· Monitor and advocate for local and state policies affecting our community.
· Build relationships with government officials and stakeholders to advance the chamber's objectives.
· Manage and improve the chamber's membership program, focusing on retention and benefits.
· Assist members with their business needs and connect them with relevant resources. Tailor membership solutions that align with their goals.
· Plan and execute a select number of high-impact programs that provide value to members and promote local industry.
· Calendar all events & schedule in Chambermaster.
· Coordinate website updates with web design company.
· Send out all events and member events in Constant Contact & Meltwater (social media platform).
· Effectively manage the chamber's budget and seek funding opportunities to support critical initiatives.
· Work closely with the Chamber’s accountant agency.
· Enter transactions in the Chambermaster member database.
· Enter deposits in QuickBooks.
· Schedule Monthly Board meetings.
· Work with the President & Secretary on the agenda.
Qualifications:
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, with some flexibility required to accommodate chamber events and activities.
