Installation Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of a range of speciality foodservice equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, with the ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions. The Installation Technician will work in a fast-paced field service environment, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Install, test, and maintain a variety Specialty Foodservice equipment.
- Perform site visits to assess installation needs and ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Use blueprint reading skills to accurately install systems according to design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools and software.
- Collaborate with customers to determine their specific installation requirements.
- Utilize communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
- Detect and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure systems are in good working order.
- Telecommunicate with internal teams to coordinate installation schedules and logistics.

Skills:

- Strong background in electrical.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to detect potential issues and address them promptly.
- Experience with field service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems and the ability to communicate effectively via phone or other digital means.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
