Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Some ERP experience is preferred but not necessary
- Coordinate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for aircraft maintenance and repair
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in aircraft maintenance
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment for vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) for precision measurements
- Experience working as a mechanic in the aviation industry, preferably with airframe knowledge
- Ability to perform equipment repairs and modifications
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software to familiarization of technical drawings
