Sterling Fence Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead and help build the foundation of the preeminent fence business in the tri-state area. This is a unique opportunity to leverage deep fence industry expertise in an entrepreneurial way, with the ability to participate in the business’ upside and grow professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations of the New Jersey-based office
• Hire, train and manage team of installers
• Manage scheduling and project management
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Develop and manage budgets to ensure project profitability
• Guide installation of various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, and chain-link

Skills required:

• 10 years in the fence contracting industry
• Experience managing projects and teams
• Experience installing a broad array of fencing products
• Ability to manage project budgets
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to lift heavy weights and use power tools effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.25 - $50.00 per hour
