**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and legal requirements.

**Duties:**

- Perform data entry and administrative duties

- Support senior accountants and attorneys with various tasks

- Reconcile bank statements and financial data

- Assist in the assembly of tax returns

- Handle general accounting tasks such as journal entries and account reconciliations

-Assist in payroll processing and client communications

-Answer and direct phone calls

**Requirements:**

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts

- Proficiency in math and analytical skills

- Familiarity with debits, credits, and basic financial terminology

- Ability to maintain accurate records

Preferred Skills:

- Tax and accounting knowledge is a plus
