Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Educational Assessment provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Educational Assessment typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. The Assessment Specialist assesses the needs of consumers by rating them in the six core areas of their life by completing the Adult Needs and Strength Assessment (ANSA) / Child and Adolescent Needs and Strength (CANS). The Assessment Specialist completes on-going and as needed client mental health assessments, documenting the services provided, progress or treatment barriers identified on behalf of the client at the clinic, in the client's home or community. The Assessment Specialist functions as a central point of communications and customer service about client progress with other members of the La Familia Del Paso client-centered team.
