Instructor - Educational Assessment jobs in New Mexico

The Rio Grande Educational Collaborative Before and After School Program is in need of after school teachers. Pay is $14 an hour, if you have an EA certificate or college degree pay is $16 an hour. Duties include helping elementary students with homework, reading, and providing a fun hands-on activity. Most importantly, have fun with the kids. Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and kindness

Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting or related experience (tutoring, babysitting, daycare, sports coaching, etc.)
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
