Job Description:
Davy Laboratories is a full-service environmental laboratory serving communities, industries, and the private sector. We provide comprehensive analysis of drinking water, wastewater, soil, and sludge. With certification in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, Davy Laboratories is accredited in the areas of inorganic wet chemistry, metals chemistry, organic analysis, and microbiological analysis (varies by state).
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare samples, standards, and solutions.
· Execute tasks essential for laboratory maintenance, operation, and quality assurance.
· Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; receives guidance and direction or escalates when required.
· Analyze and record data in accordance with written procedures.
· Effectively complete sample preparation and analyses.
Job Requirements:
· BS degree in chemical, environmental, or biological sciences required.
· 24 hours (minimum) of college semester hours in chemistry required. Certified college transcripts required.
· 2 years’ commercial laboratory experience required. College laboratories do not qualify.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
· Ability to multitask and desire to work on several projects at once.
· Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
