Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Medicine typically reports to a department head. May require a license to practice medicine. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Position Summary
Initiates private and group sessions within the Integrative Health and Wellbeing program which combines traditional and complimentary interventions to support patients' health and well-being. This role collaborates with Integrative Health colleagues to create programs tailored to individual needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Creates programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Facilitates Pilates, Yoga, QiGong Tai Chi, Movement and Relaxation programs
- Provides a range of effective techniques to maximize mind body recovery
- Collaborates with program colleagues regarding issues related to their patients that come up in group sessions
Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
Approximately 2 years of related experience.
Expertise in Pilates, Yoga, QiGong Tai Chi, Movement and Relaxation techniques
Certification in Pilates or Yoga
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
