The Alfred State College Automotive Department is in search of an instructor to teach in the senior A.O.S year of our two-year A.O.S. degree program. The ideal applicant will be experienced and proficient in all aspects of automotive repair. The primary responsibilities include instructing and advising students. The topics to be taught may include but are not limited to: Brakes, Steering and Suspension Systems, Electrical Systems, HVAC Systems, NYSI and Welding. The ideal candidate will also be fluent with computer operation for lesson development, lesson delivery, word processing, email and online grading. This position would begin Fall of 2024.
Requirements:
A minimum of an AOS degree with 7 years of experience OR 10-15 years of industry experience.
