Being an Instructor - Physics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Physics typically reports to a department head. We are currently seeking qualified and dynamic Math/Science educators who can teach in our High School Homeschool Co-op. We are looking for teachers in the following subjects:
Pre Algebra
Algebra I & II
Geometry
Physics
Computer Science
All classes will take place in our centrally located office. Ideal candidates will have experience in Math and or Science, be reliable and dependable, flexible, and have a love of learning and education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focusing on math concepts.
- Provide individualized instruction to students based on their learning needs and abilities.
- Utilize classroom management skills to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a comprehensive math/science curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure academic success.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and progress in math.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
