Angwin Academy is a local small business dedicated to educationally supporting the students and families of Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. We offer 1 to 1 tutoring, Homeschool Co-op classes and many additional educational services. We pride ourselves on a family like environment and welcome children of all levels and abilities. We are currently seeking qualified and dynamic Math/Science educators who can teach in our High School Homeschool Co-op. We are looking for teachers in the following subjects:

Pre Algebra

Algebra I & II

Geometry

Physics

Computer Science

All classes will take place in our centrally located office. Ideal candidates will have experience in Math and or Science, be reliable and dependable, flexible, and have a love of learning and education.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focusing on math concepts.
- Provide individualized instruction to students based on their learning needs and abilities.
- Utilize classroom management skills to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a comprehensive math/science curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure academic success.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and progress in math.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
