Psychotherapist for Community-Based Traumatic Brain Injury Program

We are looking for a limited licensed psychologist (LLP or TLLP) to provide community-based therapeutic services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries resulting from automobile and/or work-related accidents.

Innovative Rehabilitation Systems, is a community-based brain injury program servicing Southeastern Michigan and Mid-Michigan. For over 25 years, we have been using evidence-based principles of rehabilitation to assist patients with their recovery. Our goal is to provide functional home and community-based therapy to provide patient-centered holistic therapy with a state-of-the-art approach. Using the patient's natural environment such as their home, community or workplace allows us to attain measurable outcomes that turn even small successes into something bigger.

Details of the Position:

Clinicians need to be creative, flexible and team-oriented while providing evidence-based care to individuals with traumatic brain injuries within an interdisciplinary team. The therapist in this position is to provide individual psychotherapy that addresses the need for coping strategies, changes in family dynamics and assist with the acceptance of change of life status as a result of the injury. It is expected that the therapist in the position ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, and patient-centered.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Master's degree in psychology with one-year supervised post masters experience;

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES PREFERRED: Limited Licensed Psychologist; or Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist
