Instructor - Sociology teaches courses in the discipline area of sociology. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Sociology provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Sociology typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Sports Performance Trainer at Elite Performance Sports and Training Academy in Carson, CA. The Sports Performance Trainer will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs, coaching athletes, conducting assessments, providing feedback, and collaborating with other coaches to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Sports Coaching, Communication, and Teaching skills
- Experience in Physical Education and a general knowledge of sports and performance
- Ability to create individualized training programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with working with youth athletes
- Knowledge of sports performance principles and techniques
- NASM, NSCA, ISSA, NCSF Certifications in Strength and Conditioning, or related fields, are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, or related field, preferred but will consider candidates with 3 years related experience
