Insulation Worker jobs in Monroe, LA
Insulation Worker applies insulating material to exposed surfaces of structures such as air ducts, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and cold storage rooms. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being an Insulation Worker is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Insulation Worker performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Clean up each hatcher involved in a hatch, to tops, sides, backs, and fronts as well as the inside of the compartment
Dispose of hatch refuse following all approved procedures
3. Thoroughly wash and sanitize the washroom and all equipment used in that day's production
4. Thoroughly wash and sanitize all hatching trays and racks
6. Assist in the transfer of eggs from the incubators to the hatchers
7. Assist in pulling hatch
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic understanding and meeting of Hatchery / Breeder Sanitation / Isolation Policies and requirements
- Possess adequate math skills to be able to function effectively
- Safe working habits
PHYSICAL :
- Able to work in standing position
- Able to lift 25 pounds on a consistent basis
Requirements

5. Keep the maintenance department informed of any repairs necessary to keep the equipment in good working condition
6. Assist in the transfer of eggs from the incubators to the hatchers
7. Assist in pulling hatch

- Possess adequate math skills to be able to function effectively
- Safe working habits
