Insulation Worker applies insulating material to exposed surfaces of structures such as air ducts, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and cold storage rooms. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being an Insulation Worker is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Insulation Worker performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Position Summary
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Respond and fulfill the Foremans’ or Managers’ requests and directions.
Aid in the morning prep and end of day flush-out.
Work at the jobsite until completion or otherwise directed.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop, trailer, equipment, and trucks.
Provide a positive, efficient, and safe working environment.
Maintain quality and efficiency of the expectations set by the field manager or crewman.
Oversee and complete the drilling process on the jobsite.
Oversee the removal and reinstalment of siding.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to work safely and effectively on jobsite obstacles such as ladders, roofs, unfinished buildings, etc.
Ability to work through extreme weather such as snow, rain, wind, etc.
Ability to take initiative and communicate effectively with the rest of the team.
Physical ability to perform duties and responsibilities on the jobsite.
Working knowledge of the tools, materials, and safe usage of them.
Must be efficient to clean and drill.
