What You Will Do We are seeking a Work Control Integration Specialist with experience in project management, operational leadership, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of implementing process improvements and managing complex projects within a regulated environment.
What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: - Under supervision and guidance Work Control Integration Manager ensures that interdepartmental problems are resolved promptly and that an integrated approach is followed in the performance of the project.
- Lead the integration of Integrated Safety Management (ISM) within project planning and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with program managers, relevant SMEs and work control planners to guarantee that projects fulfill customer requirements and laboratory objectives.
- Evaluate and enhance project management processes to foster continuous improvement.
- Under the supervision of a higher level manager assists in the reviews of project cost estimates, schedules, major trends, and forecasts to customers.
- Offer training and mentorship to project teams, enhancing their capabilities in work control planning.
- Uphold a culture of safety, quality, and compliance across all project activities.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong and effective customer relations.
- Provides guidance and interpretation of policies and programs concerning project management
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 8 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications: - Working knowledge of the technical or operational discipline of the assigned portfolio(s).
- Working knowledge of regulatory and Laboratory requirements related to programmatic work of assigned portfolio(s).
- Experience in developing and nurturing effective customer relationships.
- Experience in interacting effectively with all levels of personnel; building trust, gaining consensus, and resolving conflicts.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory.
