Experienced Patent Paralegal with Executive Admin Skills

This is a unique patent paralegal position with a small patent law firm that focuses solely on all aspects of pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent law, including global patent prosecution, patent strategy, licensing, adversarial matters, opinions, due diligence, and investor support. We have a successful record of securing and defending valuable rights in complex and competitive areas of life sciences.

We are seeking a high performing patent paralegal with at least five years of experience handling submissions to the U.S. Patent Office, drafting reporting letters to clients, assisting with patent docket oversight, and helping with correspondence to foreign associate firms as necessary. Microsoft Office Suite experience required, including formatting complex Word documents, such as contracts and licenses, and expertise with PowerPoint and Excel.

Our law firm maintains as a high priority a small team collegial environment, where each employee is highly valued as a team player contributing to the firm success. The paralegal will work closely with the lawyers, technical specialists and other paralegals at the firm to accomplish work projects.

Job responsibilities require excellent communication and writing skills. This is a full-time position and requires presence in the office at least 3 days a week, with the ability to work remotely 2 days a week. We offer competitive pay and benefits.
