Responsibilities
Install and configure software and hardware
Manage network servers and technology tools
Set up accounts and workstations
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Troubleshoot issues and outages
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backuprecovery
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
BScBa in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification
Regular day in this role
Maintain over 300 VM/physical servers consisting of RHEL 6 , Solaris5 , CentOS5
TLS/SSH digital certificate management
Ansible OS maintenance and security patching automation via AWX
CVE (common vulnerability and exposure) monitoring (Qualys/CrowdStrike) and remediation
Application performance monitoring, instrumentation, and remediation via Dynatrace
Software server maintenance (Infovista) and user provisioning - 3 Days Ago

About Hamlin, West Virginia
Hamlin, originally named "Hamline," is a town in Lincoln County, West Virginia, United States, along the Mud River. The population was recorded as 1,142 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Lincoln County. Hamlin is a part of the Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 287,702. New definitions from February 28, 2013 placed the population at 363,000.
