Position Overview:As a Residential Property Manager and Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving growth by selling management agreements to property owners who need our services to manage their rental properties. Your role will require leveraging your extensive sales experience and deep knowledge of property management operations to connect with property owners and quickly foster relationships that lead to the rapid sale of management agreements. You will also oversee the leasing process and manage a number of leasing agents and/or Property Managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and target potential property owners for management agreements.
- Utilize your extensive sales experience and sales management skills to build strong, lasting relationships with property owners.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Leasing Agents and Property Managers, leveraging your sales management expertise to motivate your direct reports to achieve excellence and outstanding outcomes for clients.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and trends in the residential property management industry.
- Collaborate with our property management team to ensure seamless transition and service delivery to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and agreements.
- Stay informed about industry developments and emerging market trends.
- - Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.- Demonstrated ability to take extreme ownership of your work.
Qualifications:- 7 years of exceptional sales experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
- Significant sales management experience, demonstrating leadership and coaching abilities.
- Extensive experience in property management operations.
- Hold a valid Virginia real estate license.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for technology, including Excel, Word, and CRM systems.
- Be able to travel to Richmond and Northern Virginia at least once a month.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- College degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Qualified applicants must successfully complete a drug screen and a background investigation.
