Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. The Registered Nurse will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to monitor and treat critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Assess and document patient progress and response to treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Idaho.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in intensive care/critical care nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
