Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager jobs in Bergenfield, NJ
Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Job Type: Full-time
- Most work will be completed at Teterboro Airport.
Pay: Starting 22/hr for first 90 days
Review at 90 days with a potential increase in pay Benefits Eligible
Training Schedule: During your training phase, start time will be 6PM Monday-Thursday with 10 hour shifts overnight.
After training phase your schedule will go as followed:
Schedule: Potential start times are 5-6PM daily Monday - Friday with potential earlier afternoon start times depending on customer availability. We will go over the schedule during the interview process.
COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our employees safe, we provide appropriate PPE. We will work on empty aircraft and interactions with others is brief and infrequent.Job Type: Full-time
