Duties

• Direct and manage assigned personnel in accomplishing the mission and functions of an Aviation Maintenance Company.
• Apply knowledge of methods, techniques, procedures, planning, tools, and practices of the occupations supervised.
• Analyze work plans developed by subordinate supervisors and leaders for accomplishment of assigned work.
• Participate with higher level management and staff organizations in interpreting changing environmental requirements to include work techniques, specification changes, equipment modernization, facility requirements and improved workflow processes.
• Evaluate work operations and review completed work and administrative requirements to ensure work standards are met.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor (Chief) without more than normal supervision. Analyzing work plans; establishing effective production plans; developing plans for aircraft maintenance; directing a variety of work operations engaged in the fabrication and/or repair of a wide variety of rotary wing aircraft components. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
