The Director, Internal Communications is a critical role on the broader enterprise employee communications team. You will work cross functionally to lead change success by dissecting change initiatives, creating, and implementing, innovative effective change communication plans, primarily for the Financial Management functions. The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. What you can expect: Reporting to the vice president, cross-function communications, you will be a close partner to a broad range of internal stakeholders on change communications, in addition to supporting a wide variety of internal communications and employee engagement activities across the corporate functions. Work with subject matter experts inside the organization to identify the planned impacts of change on different audiences and then craft communications to guide each segment through the process. Build out and implement the change communications plans to support initiatives across the business and conduct assessments to measure plan effectiveness. Provide content support for other elements of the internal communications team, as directed. Use the resources and centers of expertise within the Prudential Communications organization – including creative & content, analytics, and research – to quantify and deepen communications impact, improve decision support and drive outcomes. What you’ll need: 10 years of professional communications experience, demonstrating the ability to identify and tell memorable stories. Bachelor's Degree Experience or certification with change management principles. Excellent leadership and management skills, including analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, which support sound decision making. Self-starter with a customer-centric, value creation and operational approach, with a high level of initiative to take action. Ability to work effectively and partner cross functionally in a matrixed environment. Outstanding strategic plan development, writing, messaging, editing and measurement skills. Experience working with creative partners on collateral including social media graphics, videos, and event materials. Must be highly independent to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute simultaneous projects and activities and discretion working with sensitive information. Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to thrive in a very fast-paced and changing environment.
