Lending Manager, Purchase, Retail is responsible for selling mortgages and adhering to company guidelines. Responsible for advising customers regarding their options for obtaining a new mortgage, with a focus on purchase lending. Holds license for the office. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.The starting base pay is $15.00/hr. plus monthly incentive. 

• Discuss mortgage options for purchase loans with prospective and current customers. 
• May do occasional refinance loans, generally with previous clients. 
• Holds license for the office location; responsible for maintaining required license(s). 
• Manage the loan process according to current legal and company guidelines and applicable federal, state and local regulations. 
• Follow up with prospective clients regarding documents that were submitted for review, analyze credit reports, income documents and further research as required. 
• Maintain in depth knowledge of FHA, FNMA, FHMC, VA, and USDA products in order to provide the highest levels of service for our clients and the consistent communication needed to educate and inform borrowers throughout the process. 
• Adhere to all phone disclosure requirements when speaking to customers. 
• Explain various loan products to customers. 
• Ensure loans are in compliance with Carrington guidelines, applicable state and federal regulations, and investor requirements. 
• Partner with operations staff to ensure expedient process of file flow. 
• Provide a high level of customer service to customer and agent during the loan process. 
• Establish and maintain relations with Vylla agents, Concierge and Title. 
• May be required to join professional associations such as banker associations, the rotary club, or similar groups.  
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Knowledge of FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, and USDA products 
• Knowledge of purchase transactions 
• Knowledge of Carrington policies, procedures, guidelines and organization structure 
• Knowledge of Carrington’s underwriting guidelines and investor requirements 
• Knowledge of Carrington’s loan origination system 
• Industry specific software knowledge preferred, i.e. Lead management systems (Leads 360), DU, LP, Appraisal Management Software 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel 
• Ability to follow CMS Mortgage Lending loan protocols 
• Ability to learn quickly and retain information about Carrington, its sales process flow, its products and the specialty lending industry 
• Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions 
• Ability to make decisions that have an impact on the immediate work unit
