Acts as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations. Being an International Trade Specialist ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations. Additionally, International Trade Specialist may negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Trade Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Description:

    • Directly supervise wellness staff with respect to recruiting, hiring, evaluating, counseling, etc.
    • Oversee regular competency evaluations, continuing education, and training of nurses/caregivers
    • Complete Nursing Assessments, auxiliary evaluations of residents, and other required or requested evaluations
    • Establish and maintain quality care systems to ensure all residents receive care as outlined on individual resident care plans.
    • Oversee establishment of new residents’ care plans and physician orders and conduct plan reviews with families on a regular basis
    • Monitor and audit MAR and eMAR and establishes department process for the timely and accurate tracking of resident data
    • Monitor shift change notes, communication logs, pharmacy reports, incident reports, physician orders, etc., and escalates appropriately
    • Coordinate services with home health, hospice, and other agencies.
    • Occasionally fulfill shift nurse duties in order to evaluate efficiencies, systems and resident care.

    The ideal candidate for this critical role will have:

    • At least 2 years of experience as a Director in Assisted Living or Memory Care
    • Proven leadership and teambuilding skills
    • Strong experience developing individual team members and supervising a large team of frontline staff
    • Proven survey history
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid financial acumen
