Typically requires a bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of experience in radiology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Interventional Radiological Technologist typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. Senior technologists in the department assist the manager with the day to day running of the department along with assigned projects and initiatives.
This is a specialized clinical and administrative position performing Vascular and Neuro Interventional procedures as well as supervising daily work in IR.
This position requires at least five years of experience working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in an acute care hospital, preferably a large academic medical center.
