    Responsibilities:

    1. Perform diagnostic procedures including cardiac catheterization, angiography, and other interventional procedures to assess and treat cardiovascular conditions.
    2. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, and peripheral vascular disease.
    3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, and other specialists to provide integrated care for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
    4. Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and fractional flow reserve (FFR) to guide interventional procedures and optimize patient outcomes.
    5. Perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) including angioplasty, stent placement, and atherectomy to restore blood flow to occluded coronary arteries.
    6. Participate in clinical research and academic activities including the design and implementation of clinical trials, publication of research findings, and presentations at national and international conferences.
    7. Provide expert consultation to referring physicians, healthcare professionals, and patients regarding the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
    8. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional development by staying abreast of latest advances in interventional cardiology through participation in conferences, seminars, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
    9. Uphold ethical standards and compliance with regulatory requirements in all aspects of patient care, research, and professional practice.
    10. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, clinical outcomes, and overall patient experience within the cardiovascular service line.

    Qualifications:


    1. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
    2. Board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology.
    3. Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in interventional cardiology.
    4. Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of interventional procedures including coronary and peripheral interventions.
    5. Strong clinical acumen and ability to make complex medical decisions in high-pressure situations.
    6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex medical information to patients and their families.
