Inventory Control Clerk jobs in Grand Rapids, MI

This position will be onsite at our Grand Rapids, MI location! The hours are Monday-Friday from 12pm-9pm ET. It will also require being part of on-call rotation, where you will work one weekend every 6 weeks.

We are looking to add another Inventory Control Specialist to our team! This person will be helping to manage our organization's inventory health by working side-by-side with other team members to accurately put parts away in bins and perform weekly cycle counting.

Additionally, it will be working with vendors to return parts for credit and assist logistics team members with shipping as needed.

To be successful in this role, you must be fast-paced, detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and learn quickly! It's an opportunity to be part of a highly effective department that contributes to and affects the success of our entire supply chain and Field Service Engineers.

Here's what this position is all about :

Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of parts are in stock

Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts

Review, research, and monitor parts discrepancies

Maintain the organization of our Distribution Center

Distribution Center's cycle count and purging of excess inventory

Reverse Logistics returns and RMA's

Assistance relocating, opening, and closing inventory offices and sites companywide

Monitor that inventory spares are kept in the proper locations, matching our service offices and customer needs

Provide shipping assistance to the purchasing team during on-call hours

Provide outstanding service and support for our field engineers

Collaborate with other departments to integrate Inventory Control with company processes

Work with managers and team members to implement new strategies or initiatives that will better the department and our company
