Inventory Control for a manufacturer / distributor located in Cerritos CA.

This is a long term Temporary position with possibility of growing to Temporary to Hire. Pay Rate is $17.50-21 / hr, depending on experience.

Company will complete a full background check prior to start. Hours 7 : 45 am - 4 : 15 pm, Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required M-F, as well as on Saturdays, as needed.

Overview :

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring products are accurately stored, and fulfill orders from other departments.

Must be willing to rotate and support between three teams (Return / Cage / DOA)

Duties :

Will be required to bend, reach, pick up and carry cartons from pallets; check and remove batteries from boxes; etc.

• Receive, count, verify, and confirm incoming materials to match to system or document stated part number (PN) or item description and quantity.
• Put away to correct the assigned storage location.
• Update information to system or tracking document (20% 50%).
• Process internal or external orders and generate paperwork.
• Pick available material from inventory location or report out of stock.
• Fulfill order and deduct release items from booking system (20% 50%).
• Update product information or status in system to maintain records of material transactions (0% 20%).
• Tracks all incoming and outgoing products from the facility (0% 20%).
• Train less experienced specialists to pick up orders or do cycle counts (0% 10%).
• Perform Monthly Inventory Count or Cycle Count as a key performance index to daily operation.
• Track back and correct inventory discrepancy caused by mistake. Review with manager or leads to provide root cause analysis and corrective actions (5% 25%).
• Organize after repair materials in waste dump area to prepare for scrap (5% ).
• Perform other job related duties as assigned (5% ). Requirements :
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or some college preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Emails required.
• Computer proficiency required.
• HAZMAT Certificate is preferred

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $17.50 - $21.00 Per Hour
