Being an Inventory Control Supervisor assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. HUGO BOSS is a world market leader in the premium fashion and luxury segment of the apparel market. The Savannah Distribution Center currently operates as a Foreign Trade Zone and receives / ships approximately 8 M units to 91 Retail stores and over 300 Wholesale points of sale.
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining / improving established service levels of all outbound shipments for Wholesale, Retail, and Ecom channels.
S / he must also maintain inventory integrity through use of cycle counts and aggressive audit program of inbound and outbound shipments.
In this role, you will manage processes and trainings associated with STASM / STASQ and stock consolidations. The Inventory Control Supervisor must demonstrate ability to be a team player .
This role requires ability to adjust storage capacity to meet daily, monthly and yearly inventory requirements.
