Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investment Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Investment Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements, investor statements, and performance for investment partnerships and private equity partnerships • Assist in coordinating the partnership audits by providing financial data and interfacing with auditors • Engage as an investor relation contact for partners by maintaining relationships and client service • Review all new client accounts set up for billing • Maintain bookkeeping and treasury management for the entire accounting cycle utilizing Quickbooks for various partnership accounts • Prepare financial statements, cash management analysis, closing journal entries, capital calls, payroll, and sales & use tax returns • Reconcile holdings on a monthly/quarterly basis for both public and private investment partnerships • Fulfil treasury management role with primer broker accounts • Complete and deliver investor reporting needs, portfolio reporting and additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests to client service, legal/compliance, and portfolio managers • Perform daily cash, trade, and transaction reconciliation and entries • Provide financial documentation to and work with tax accountants as they prepare federal and state income tax and payroll tax returns • Review and send K-1s to investors
