ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MAJOR TASKS:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC program requirements and any other relevant regulations or standards related to the property
• Market available units, conduct property tours, and screen potential tenants
• Implement and enforce lease agreements, policies, and procedures
• Work with 3 party vendors and internal maintenance team to address maintenance upkeep, security, and property improvements
• Manage rent collection processes, including late fees, and payment processing
• Prepare and manage and manage budgets, track expenses, and maximize revenue
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management activities
• Respond to emergencies and handle tenant inquiries or complaints

SKILLS

• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a quick and timely manner.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at a time.
• Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in property management, preferably in LIHTC or affordable housing
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in Microsoft Suite preferred
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with residents, staff, and regulatory agencies

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
