About the Job

MIH is seeking an outstanding individual to fill our Financial Analyst role. The successful applicant will be a proven financial professional capable of working closely with management to conduct financial and operational analysis, analyze business expenses, and execute reporting requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyze expenditures to suggest cost-efficient solutions to improve profitability.
• Review and analyze financial records, the general ledger, project reports, and financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, corporate presentations, and operational reporting.
• Research market rates for business costs to help determine competitive pricing.
• Establish preferred vendor pricing and assist with vendor contracting.
• Collaborate with management to control and scrutinize costs to improve profitability.
• Create various ad-hoc analysis as requested by leaders & departments.
• Collect and leverage existing internal and external data stored across disparate systems

    and structures.

Ideal Candidates  

• At least 3-years of experience in accounting, finance, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of business accounting, cost accounting, and financial management.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and proven organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of common accounting software.
• Good communication skills.
