    The typical hiring range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year. The actual offered salary may vary and will depend on individual experience, qualifications, and market conditions for the role.

     

      

    The Candidate and Responsibilities


    The position is based out of Vancouver and supports the Investor Relations team. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Investor Relations.   

     

    Applicants for this position will be self-motivated individuals with a high degree of initiative and will possess strong interpersonal skills, be attentive to detail, possess critical thinking and analytical skills, and able to build trusting relationships.

     

    This role is responsible for the following:

     

    Investor Relations Support



    • Management of highly confidential investor contact lists and responsible for updating and maintaining the comprehensive investor database (Salesforce).
    • Responsible for assisting with the research of prospective investors and partners.
    • Responsible for tracking communications and meetings related to investors and prospective investors. 
    • Responsible for scheduling investor meetings and assisting with the preparation of those meetings, including but not limited to, setting up meeting rooms and equipment, including dial-in, procuring snacks, beverages etc.
    • Assist with scheduling and registration of conferences. 
    • Maintain well-organized filing system that permits easy reference and rapid retrieval of information.
    • Support Investor Portal maintenance.
    • Support the facilitation of the IR Action List.
    • Responsible for maintaining support process documents and updating current processes.  
    • Compose or proofread messaging where applicable, will include emails, notices, updates etc.
    • Other duties may be required,

     

    Event Planning Support


    • Assisting with the planning of the Annual General Meeting [AGM], investor events, and other events as required (both onsite and offsite).
    • Budget tracking and expense reporting for special events.

    Competencies, Qualifications and Requirements


    • Undergraduate degree underway to complete, and interest and/or experience in investor relations, communications and/or business administration.
    • Experience in editing and proofreading documents.
    • High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Salesforce experience is mandatory.
    • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is an asset but not mandatory.

    • Superior time management and multitasking skills with a strong sense of urgency under minimal supervision.
