Suncourt is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Durant, Iowa. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer-related transactions in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with company policies and procedures. Standard work week will be Monday-Friday from 7:30-4pm.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and process customer orders
• Verify accuracy of data in system
• Complete transaction including freight documents
• Process short pays and credit memos
• Detect pricing and other billing errors on received invoices
• Work in different portals
• Prepare and distribute billing invoices for customers
• Participate in month-end close, including Excel spreadsheets, Crystal Reports, etc.
• Communicate with customers regarding any invoice discrepancies and/or late payments
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accredited Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred
• Two years of relevant work experience in accounting administration
• Previous experience with Sage and/or Crystal reports a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience beneficial
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work within deadlines
• Ability to follow and create detailed processes
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and be pro-active
• Ethical conduct and integrity
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and take notes
