Description

We are in search of an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to support the rapid growth of the logistics industry. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the department; monitor the department’s performance, tracking and posting payments, resolving customer issues, reconciling accounts, and managing AR staffs.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the accounts receivable & collections process
• Monitor customer accounts & ensure timely payments & assess creditworthiness
• Handle customer inquiries & respond to collections calls
• Review & reconcile customer accounts. Conducting credit checks on new and potential customers
• Maintain records of customer payments & credit
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies & credit procedures
• Prepare & present reports on receivables & collections
• Develop & maintain relationships with customers

   

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- At least 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles & procedures
- Strong analytical & organizational skills
- Highly organized & ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Ability to work independently & in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Excel, Word, Outlook) or related software as well as other accounting software programs
- Previous experience in logistics industry a plus
