Summary:
Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Accounts Payable department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned
- Ensure invoices received by A/P are processed in a timely manner and payments are made on or before due dates
- Maintain department processes set by the A/P Manager. Work with A/P line staff to correct any variances to the processes.
- Work with A/P Manager and/or other departments to resolve any escalated issues involving vendor invoices
- Work with A/P line staff to process invoices, as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience working in A/P department
- Previous leadership experience in A/P field preferred
- Previous experience working in the gaming industry preferred
- Able to effectively organize materials, set priorities, and provide feedback or follow up
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced, busy environment
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- Profession-appropriate competence with Stratton Warren, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
