Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounts receivable functions and ensure accurate and timely processing of receivables.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team
- Manage collection activities such as negotiating with past-due accounts, referring accounts to collection agencies, and sending follow ups.
- Review and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers
- Monitor aging reports
- Monitor deductions and chargebacks , implement corrective steps by identifying variances.
- Review and reconcile Amazon
- Process defective returns
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing and compliance issues
- Prepare financial reports related to accounts receivable and cash forecasting
- Train, mentor, and support team members
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and account reconciliation
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping principles
- 3-5 years of provien experience in accounts receivable or related financial services role
- Experience in telemarketing or customer service is a plus
-Superior spreadsheet skills and a working knowledge of excel
