IRA Services Representative, Sr. jobs in Kentucky

As an IRA/HSA Specialist, your day will be filled with opportunities to support the bank in all aspects of IRA’s and Health Savings Accounts including the implementation and servicing of the accounts. Experience working in Deposit Operations or Retail Banking are important while Stock Yards Bank & Trust will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidate’s skills to further his/her career goals for advancement within the banking profession.

Responsibilities 

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Process and verify incoming IRA and HSA transfer paperwork from retail branches.
• IRA and HSA exception tracking, follow up and clearing
• Track incoming IRA Rollover and Transfers and update spreadsheet
• Answer incoming branch and customers calls including E-mails.
• Learn IRA and HSA regulations to provide technical support and coaching to branches.
• Verify and mail IRA Distribution checks
• Open IRA and Beneficiary accounts as needed and mail documents to customer. 
• Setup distribution and contribution addendas in Navigator
• Assist with calculation of required minimum distributions and excess contributions.
• Maintain database for HSA employer fee billings, mail out invoices and post payments.
• Assist with monthly metrics
• Verify and prepare master docs for scanning to DDC department.
• Provide Intra-fi CDARS backup to Department Manager
• Work independently to ensure service delivery and compliance with bank regulations. Troubleshoot and solve any data issues
• Maintain procedural updates when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least one year working in Deposit Operations or Retail Banking

• Basic knowledge of IRAs and Health Savings Accounts, be familiar with bank term products, procedures and processes, need to be able to multi-task and stay focused.

• Proven ability to interact well with clients and internal bank personnel

• Strong attention to detail; strong client services skills; good written and verbal communication skills; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
