We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Irrigation Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. You will also be expected to interact professionally with customers, subcontractors, and architects. Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, including wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching/pulling pipe, and installing heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc.
• Operating company equipment such as trenchers, pullers, trucks, tampers, etc.
• Ordering correct materials for each job
• Interfacing professionally with customers, subcontractors, architects, etc.
• Completing all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks related to the job
• Directing a crew of one other employee, if necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and insurability on company’s insurance policy
• Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
• Physical ability to handle the workload of an Irrigation Technician, including lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
• Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) or in the process of becoming certified
• Minimum of three years of experience in the irrigation service field
• Proficiency in control wire tracking, solenoid location equipment, electrical troubleshooting, and use of multi-tester
• Experience with two-wire irrigation systems and decoder programming
• Leadership capability to effectively manage and direct a crew of one or two people
