We're seeking a motivated Operations Associate to assist in the day-to-day operations of our shipping, receiving, logistics, and product quality control. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the freshest, highest-quality Maine oysters and seafood. Our business includes: Farm Division, Wholesale Division, Farm Store, Eco-tourism, E-commerce.

Job Description

Glidden Point Oyster Company is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team. The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the receiving and shipping of shellfish. Shipping includings Driving to Rockland twice a week in a 18ft box truck.

Job Duties

• Manage all logistics
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming product data
• Retagging Shellfish
• Packing Shellfish for Deliveries
• Drive Delivery Truck 2-3 afternoons per week
• Build pallets for efficient delivery
• Keeping records of inventories
• Schedule and prioritize all deliveries
• Communicate with sales team to confirm customer satisfaction
• Monitor all inventory levels and ensure product is in stock
• Monitor all shipping information
• Drive 18ft Box Truck
• Adjust daily bills of lading for delivery
• Coordinate with the sales team on order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
• Strong ability to manage time effectively. Able to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Able to adapt quickly under pressure. Able to handle confidential information with discretion. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions. Able to adapt quickly under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
