Job Description:
The successful candidate will oversee and manage all operations for the SAU 16 School District educational channel and assist in channel operations for the town of Exeter from the Cable TV Operations Center at Exeter High School.
The SAU 16 Education Channelserves six communities with school-related programming including meetings, sports, events, concerts, plays, social media and bulletin board updates.
Responsibilities:
1. To work closely with all SAU 16 schools to provide coverage of school board meetings, events, performances, sports, graduation's and other school related events.
2. Encourages participation and provides supportive studio access to town of Exeter residents to provide a wide variety of local production and events.
3. Regularly updates the Education and Public Access bulletin boards, as well as provides content for the SAU 16 and town of Exeter websites.
4. Provides training as needed to SAU 16 school personnel, students and town of Exeter staff and on all EHS Operations, equipment and procedures.
5. Maintain and manage equipment for Exeter High School TV Operations Center and process requests as needed for new equipment and for repairs.

Qualifications:
1. Experience in a television or radio environment (studio, field, editing).
2. Knowledge of audio/video acquisition equipment, master control operations and digital playback and storage software. Experience with NewTek Tricaster broadcasting equipment and Tulvue broadcast systems equipment a plus.
3. Must be an excellent communicator, organizer and time manater and be able to work with students, educators, local resident s and school/town officials.
4. Familiarity with the SAU1 16 communities and Town of Exeter a plus.

This is a year round position.
