This role reports to office in Boca with up to 30% travel.
SUMMARY:
Asset and Inventory Managers responsible for procuring, monitoring, and reporting on the companies owned/leased assets and leased facilities. The Asset and Inventory Manager oversees the daily operations and activities of the companies owned/leased fleet, owned/leased equipment, and leased facilities. This shall consist of office buildings, warehouses, restoration/construction/roofing equipment, tools & consumables that are stored in these facilities and the management/maintenance of company owned/leased vehicles and trailers. This role is important to the efficiency of the company’s operations. This position is responsible for managing the company’s assets & resources to meet a return-on-investment strategy in a manner that provides safe, productive, and cost-effective facilities/fleet and equipment for our employees. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have resources to achieve their objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct responsibility for the company’s facilities, fleet, equipment, and inventory.
- Will have to work closely with the company’s operations teams to understand and meet their needs.
- Manage departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; recommend improvements as deemed appropriate.
- Conduct regular quality control and safety inspections of facilities, fleet, and equipment; ensure adherence to safe work practices.
- Monitor property leases, and address maintenance and service-related issues.
- Manage the Organization’s fleet management programs, including scheduling of preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Replacement and addition of vehicles and equipment as needed to support the growth of company or age of assets as directed by the operations team.
- Maintain inventory and facilitate repairs/replacement of tools, materials, supplies and equipment.
- Maintain records to track vehicle registrations, titles, etc.
- Manages the company’s equipment, which includes the deployment of, scheduling of repairs, and monitoring usage and compliance with the company’s inventory system.
- Maintain inventory reports and record inventory reconciliations.
- Be available during off hours for emergency issues and catastrophic storm response.
- Collaborate with Field Logistics and Operations personnel, Regional Directors, and ROM’s to coordinate scheduled warehouse inspections, equipment upkeep, and fleet inspections/repairs within their regions to efficiently and effectively assist the FFEI manager on company assets.
- Become an expert in the company’s software systems used to monitor facilities, fleet, equipment, and inventory within warehouses.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, management, facilities or fleet management, or related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility and experience managing facilities, fleet, equipment, and inventory required; or equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the position. Strong understanding of facilities and equipment management and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and mobile technologies are required. Experience operating a forklift. Possess a DOT medical card.
