HELP DESK TECHNICIAN - REMOTE
This long-term contract role involves providing Level 1 remote IT support to over 1,700 users. The technician will assist with troubleshooting Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and O365 applications, managing user accounts, and resolving hardware and software issues.
Must-have Skills
- Windows 10 administrative experience
- Migration from old to new company computers without data loss
- Hardware installation (e.g., printers, scanners)
- 3 years of experience as a Help Desk Tier 1 consultant
- Active Directory experience (password resets, user onboarding/offboarding)
- Experience with Solarwinds & Ncentral
- Troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite via online ticketing tools
- O365 Enterprise experience
- Issuing Microsoft licensing (Exchange Plan 1, Office 365 versions e1, e3, e5)
- Creating identities and troubleshooting O365 applications
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
- CompTIA A , Network , or Security certifications
- O365 certifications
- Ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Level 1 IT support via phone and email
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 IT issues
- Perform initial triage and escalate when necessary
- Support over 1,700 users remotely
