POSITION SUMMARY

As an IT Help Desk Technician, you’ll be responsible for providing “hands-on” user support for day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of personal productivity systems used within the corporate enterprise. Additional duties will be to provide maintenance and support of the technology infrastructure and develop new solutions as needed through project work.

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

• Knowledge and experience in the following: Microsoft Entra ID management, Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Exchange User Administration, VOIP telephony systems, Basic LAN and WLAN fundamentals
• Great problem-solving skills
• Team interaction skills and ability to work in a changing environment
• Customer service oriented
• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands

WHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Answer helpdesk phone calls and emails
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues related to computers, phones, printers, scanners, etc.
• Document, track and route issues in ticket tracking system
• Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware
• Maintain network security and access to resources by creating, editing, or deleting user accounts, network shares and e-mail lists with attention to appropriate security procedures
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free office environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regular lifting, climbing (install cables), crawling (access tight spaces), bending, etc.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
