Key Responsibilities
As an IT Help Desk Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Promptly troubleshooting and resolving both software and hardware issues.
- Identifying, managing, escalating, and rectifying technical problems as needed.
- Translating client requirements into effective technological solutions.
- Installing and configuring software, utilities, and IT tools on workstations and networks.
- Monitoring systems to proactively identify potential issues and implementing corrective measures.
- Utilizing remote management tools to efficiently support users.
- Managing and maintaining user accounts through Active Directory.
- Collaborating with the Wireless Mobility team on data analysis, reporting, and end-user support.
- Ensuring confidentiality regarding sensitive information accessed through the network.
- Adhering to best practices and methodologies in IT to enhance service delivery.
- Clearly communicating technical information to users at all levels within the organization.
- Fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows 7⁄10 and Microsoft Office 365, alongside a basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience in IT knowledge sharing and training.
- Familiarity with remote management tools and Active Directory is preferred.
- Bonus: Ability to communicate in Spanish or Portuguese.
Qualifications
- Education: An Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Other Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
