Focused on Safety Analyze and resolve work problems and assist workers in solving work problems Ensure department metrics are achieved in a safe, timely, quality, cost efficient and productive manner Manages production schedules; is accountable for the achievement of area performance objectives, product quality and productivity Collaborate with Manager on scheduled performance reviews Skills: 5 years related experience in manufacturing 5 years’ experience in people management and the supervision of a production team Accountable, able to Prepare/Track/Follow up daily activities and projects from start to finish Ability to work independently and within a team Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills Self-starter, tenacious and strong team player Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills Lean and 5S understanding Knowledge of MRP system controls for production processes, including bills of materials, routings, setup sheets, work instructions. Working knowledge of ISO 9000/13495 preferable MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to interact with a diversity of people and diverse levels of personnel These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: sitting, standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, lifting, pushing, carrying, etc. Ability to continuously stand or walk Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently Must be capable of withstanding long period of viewing data on a computer screen and/or in paper format
