Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.
Duties:
- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Create and maintain project documentation, such as project charters, schedules, and status reports
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects within scope, budget, and timeline
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues; develop mitigation strategies as needed
- Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and senior management
- Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or questions
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of projects
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality assurance and adherence to requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle
Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Experience with project management tools such as Visio
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation
