Currently, we are seeking individuals for an IT Quality Assurance Analyst opportunity with our client in Cleveland, Ohio. This opportunity is 100% remote! Candidate MUST reside in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Determines scope and focus of testing effort and creates Test Strategy and risk analysis to guide testing efforts.
• Prepares test tools, automation and environment assets to support testing effort.
• Creates, uses and maintains automated scripts to increase efficiencies in testing, including troubleshooting problems with scripts.
• Tests systems or system components utilizing black box testing methods.
• Validates the function of system under test and observes results from various external and internal interfaces.
• Gathers test activity information during execution and prepares summarized information about the testing effort.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with taking a pragmatic approach to applying concepts in Waterfall, Lean, Agile and Scrum as appropriate for the work at hand.
• Experience in identifying opportunities to apply automated testing to drive efficiency and enhance testability.
• In-depth knowledge of common testing methods, testing tools (e.g., ALM), terminology and industry practices.
• Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns and interfaces, Snowflake
• Knowledge of using software packages or tools for processing or displaying data (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL Queries).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with appropriate testing techniques/methods to test complex business and technical requirements (i.e. Black box testing, functional testing, regression testing, API testing using Postman or Swagger, acceptance testing, front end and backend testing) and Alteryx.
• Knowledge of Lean management system routines, Daily Gemba walks, Kaizen events, Daily Stand-Ups and Problem-Solving Session
